What We Do: Past Projects

  • Carrotmob, a reverse protest, with local frozen yogurt shop, Twist
  • 350 and Earth Day Festivals
  • Trip to Washington, DC for the Earth Day Rally
  • 50-student trip to Washington, DC for Power Shift 2009, a national youth summit on climate change with over 11,000 student leaders from around the country.
  • Pull the Plug and Do It In The Dark campaigns (campus emissions reduction)
  • Focus the Nation Climate Change Teach-In – panelists on CC from environment to economics
  • Campus Climate Forum: How and Why to take action on campus
  • Public Lectures by Amory Lovins, Congressman Rush Holt, David de Rothschild, Betsy Taylor, and many others
  • Collaboration with campus administration, facilities maintenance, green groups
  • Wind Farm feasibility research
  • Weekly climate news updates
